On the third day of my Riau Archipelago visit, I have visited on Bintan island. I have started my visit from Nagoya city, Batam Indonesia.
I have haired a bike from Gojek (ride-sharing app) to Punggur Ferry Terminal by 54000 IDR (3.40 USD). Public transport also available on this route from a different stoppage in Batam city.
I have to buy a ferry ticket to Tanjung pinning price is 67000 IDR (4.26 USD) for one way. The ferry is available from 7.00 am to 12.30 pm
Tanjung Pinang is the capital city of Bintan island, ferry terminal also here. After 1 hour 10 minuets journey, I have reached Tanjung pinang city and haired a motor bike again to visit the famous Tikora beach. Near about 48.4 km from Tanjung pinning city. Better you can haired a car to visit Tikora beach. The bike is painfully in this way because of the long drive and a small bike.
In this way, after 9km you will see Maitri Graha that one is the largest temple in Southeast Asia. the total land area is 10 hector. the main statue is made of brass coated with 22-carat gold.
